Anyway, I need to thank God for a lot of stuff. after spending 30 mins on devotion the morning before I took my physics and maths test, Im quite sure that divine intervention went in my way. I wont say I did badly or did very well but it's all in God's hands.

For all those out there having ur mid years, GPs, pws, or whatever test, I wish U wish God wishes u good luck :D so PRAY HARD people... lay everything before God and Trust him to help u! pray before the test commences. it's important. It calms u down and takes away the burden.. God bless everyone...



we'll be having meeting today I suppose, so hope it goes smoothly.

Bible study

Today we talked about the parable of the Lost son. About how he was willing accepted for returning home to his father and how his father welomed him. We were also taught how not to be jealous over small blessings received by others but rather count our own blessings...

We should not shun those we return to us but indeed welcome them with loving hearts as much as our father does to his lost sheep.

Let us all remember how blessed we are in the Lord and how we are all blessed with one another...
For all those with deteoriating spiritual growth fret not and return to us, return to the Lord... pray for all those lost brothers and sisters may they return to us..

for I know the power of prayer..

Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love,peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 2 timothy 2:22

Ever wonder why we have troubles at all? I think it is because without them we might lose site of what is really important. Might become too comfortable and begin putting our trust in things. Might forget Who is really in control. Might forget how lost we really are and wither under the hopelessness of our situation...

When you see Joseph's faith--he had enough faith in God that even though his brothers wanted to kill him, and even though his brothers wanted to sell him into slavery (just get rid of him!)--Joseph trusted God and never talked back to his brothers. And his faith was never shaken by the adversities of his life.

"He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. You can be sure that the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. So when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your benefit and salvation! For when God comforts us, it is so that we, in turn, can be an encouragement to you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. We are confident that as you share in suffering, you will also share God's comfort"

Good Friday

On this day we remember his Death of the cross for our sins and how he gave his greatest Love for Us.
Here's how hanging on the Cross feels like... NOT nice

- Large thick nails probably rusty driven through both the wrists or hands, piercing the flesh and into the wood.

-Larger thicker nails forcibly driven through the Ankles or feet.

-Body Weight suspended on these nails. imagine hanging on a monkey bar, except with nails though ur wrist

-The victim has to draw himself up by his arms, if not unlifted, the victim will die of asphyxiation, difficulty breathing. that's pull ups with nails through wrists.

-Hanged for Hours and Hours... prolonged, agonizing, humiliating death..



That is NOT fun. the cross is not just some simple eletric chair where the victim feels nothing, but its something so agonizing so humuliating and so excruxiatingly painful that it is also so meaningful at the same time. hope u all get the message..

It's Jiahui's last year with us in tuanqi... she's getting too old and tingmin still has 2 more years to go! Treasure the time here!

I apologize for screwing up a little for being chairman... I shall not bring up any excuses... pls DONT follow my example... anyway... Im also a bit dissapointed with attendance today... It's just wasted that many of us missed such a good message... what the speaker said was very true indeed, we only need 100 people who are willing to die for christ to shake and send a message across to the whole world... Let alone 2-3 people impacting a fellowship.. let us not be afraid and stand up for Christ! Do not despair! Do not give up! God is watching us!

We are the light of the world,

We are the salt of the Earth.

I really hope that we all learn precious lessons from this sermon..
