I ASKED GOD....

I asked God to take away my pride.
And God says, No.
He says that it is not for Him to take away but for me to give up.


I asked God to make my handicapped body whole.
And God says, No.
He says that BODY IS TEMPORARYand the SPIRIT IS WHOLE.


I asked God to grant me patience.
And God says, No.
He says that patience is the by-product of tribulation,
its NOT GRANTED BUT EARNED.


I asked God to give me happiness.
And God says,No.
He says that He gives blessings but HAPPINESS IS UP TO ME.


I asked God to spare me pain.
And God says, No.
He says that pain draws me away from worldly cares and bring me
CLOSER TO HIM.


I asked God to make my spirit grow.
And God says, No.
He says that He must prune me to make me FRUITFUL.


I asked God if He loves me.
And God says, Yes.
He gave His only Son, who died for me and I will be with Him someday because I BELIEVE.


I asked God to help me love others as He loves me.
And God says,
Glad you said so.
