转眼间，一年一度的改选即将来临。改选的目地是要让新一批的委员任，好好带领团契。因此，团员们都应该参与改选，选出你们认为是适合的人来带领团契。但是最终结果如何都由上帝掌控，因此我们得做好准备。

在此，我希望大家都能以认真，积极和严肃的态度来参与改选。此外，在改选前，我鼓励大家多祷告，为着团契明年的领袖好好代祷，求主赐我们有智慧去选出合神心意的人来做带领的工作，好让2010年的委员能同心协力的事奉，让团契成为一个更适合少年人们灵命成长的好地方。

A few months ago,i went 2 the spi(Singapore paranormal investigation) site.
I decided to browse through a few articles posted.
Out of these titles, i happened to come across this.

I was thinking, what can a spi site talk about the bible? They are most probably skeptical about the bible and perhaps are trying to find out "evidence" to point out the faults in the bible?
And so with all these questions in mind, i began reading the article.
And i'm sure the first paragraph will leave you in disbelief. A spi site supporting the bible?
Here goes..(the article is too long and i've only choosed 2 examples, in case some people fall asleep while reading this.)

Is the Bible a record of science or a relic of ancient mythology?
Is the Bible relevant to the Space Age? or obsolete folklore?
Here is the most incredible, astonishing PROOF, from history, physics, astronomy, geology, chemistry, oceanography, and archaeology that the Bible, written thousands of years ago, contains knowledge that was supposedly only discovered by scientists during the past two centuries!
Here is PROOF the Bible IS not only the "divine revelation" of a Creator God, but that forebears were highly intelligent, skillful and astute scientists, navigators, and explorers. Here is the most amazing and intriguing story you have ever heard - proving the Bible to be an astounding scientific chronicle - and a Book of Divine inspiration and insight!

Knowledge About Air Pressure
You are probably familiar with the fact that air has weight. At sea level air pressure is 14.7 pounds per square inch. As you go up in altitude, air pressure is less and less. A mountain climber ascending Mount Everest finds the air so thin that he has to take oxygen. along to breathe. When did science discover that air has weight? Any textbook on Physics reveals that the laws of pressure, temperature and volume of gases were supposedly not discovered until the last few hundred years. It was not known in ancient times, supposedly, that invisible air actually has "weight." Nor was sit understood that rain behaves according to definite laws of physics and chemistry. But notice! Here is what God inspired to be written in the Bible over three thousand years ago! "God . . . looks to the ends of the earth; beneath the whole heavens he sees. When he made a WEIGHT FOR THE WIND, and meted out the waters by measure [rainfall in the United States averages 29 inches every year!]; when he made a LAW for the rain, and a WAY for the thunderbolt" (Job 28:23-26). The Amplified Bible makes this even more clear: "When He gave to the wind weight or pressure . . ." Here is another remarkable instance of SCIENCE in the Bible! Thousands of years before modern science discovered these same laws of nature and physics! Ancient Job knew the relationship between barometric pressure of the atmosphere and weather 3,000 years ago! Over 3,000 years before Torricelli, an Italian physicist (1608-1647) proved the same relationship with his barometer!

TRUE Science
Stop and think, for a moment. The pagans worshipped the heavenly bodies. Christians worship the Almighty One who put them out there! Pagans believed in astrology and worshipped the sun, moon and stars. But in the pages of the Bible, God expressly CONDEMNS such worship. He tells us the purpose of the creation of the heavenly bodies: "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for SEASONS, and for days and YEARS" (Gen. 1:14). Human methods of counting time, and human clocks, are all based on the motions of the heavenly bodies. The earth rotates at a relatively constant speed, giving us day and night; it revolves around the sun at a relatively constant speed, taking one year per revolution. The moon revolves around the earth, giving us the lunar month. Every human timepiece -- whether it be a wristwatch or a Grandfather's Clock, with Westminster chimes -- is kept accurate by timing them with the most precise Clock ever invented -- the solar system and the stars! Time is kept accurate by basing time, calculations and computations on the precise movements of the stars and the positions of the fixed stars. The master clock in the United States is at the Naval Observatory, Washington, D. C. By measuring time by the stars, the Naval Observatory keeps track of time to the tiniest fraction of a second. By knowing the exact movements of the heavenly bodies, solar and lunar eclipses can be PREDICTED thousands of years in advance! God inspired David to write, "He made the moon for fixed times; the sun knows its time of setting" (Psalm 104:19, Goodspeed). Or, as the Amplified Bible has it, "the sun knows the EXACT TIME of its setting." Truly, as David wrote to beautifully in the Psalms: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof" (Psalm 19:1-6). The apostle Paul was so bold as to put it this way: "For the invisible things of him from the CREATION are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are MADE, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse" (Rom.1:20). The existence of God is plainly and forcibly REVEALED in His handiwork, His Creation!

Truly, the Bible is a most remarkable Book!
As Solomon wrote in the book of Proverbs, "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
The heaven for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart of kings, is unsearchable" (Proverbs 25:2-3). The process of discovery has only just begun!

Friends, stand firm no matter what is going on in your lives or around you.
Lord Jesus is ALIVE and HE IS STILL IN CHARGE!Mankind makes mistakes, they err and sadly many reap for their follies, but God is faithful. He never changes.
He is with us thru the darkness, the bitterness, the sorrow and the pain.
He is even there when we make mistakes and fall on the ground.
Let us turn to Him for all our needs. Let us turn to Him with a repentant and needy heart and trust that our Father and Lord will hear us.

Someone told me today about his friend who is going to be a multi millionaire, as he has been given an opportunity to buy 20% shares in his company which is very profitable. My answer was that many who are billionaires are turning paupers today, let's be thankful of the little we have and keep our eyes on the Lord. Sadly money has become a God to many and in a way their security.

The economic times of the day show us that making money our security is foolishness. The Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit are our security. He led the Israelites out of slavery and bondage and provided for hundreds of thousands in the desert, will He abandon His children who walk with Him or turn to Him for His aid and mercy? Please sit with the Lord today and talk to Him. He is there for you and willing to help you.God has helped me through countless of needs and has become my only provider. I keep looking at Him and not anyone else for all my needs and He helps me. He sustains me when I am in difficulty and keeps guiding and leading me. He gives me strength to bear burdens when needed and changes me on the inside. Many troubles have come to me and my family but through it and through it alone, I have discovered who God is.

He is my Saviour, Father, most Beloved Friend and that is only the beginning...I pray that you too will seek Him, for if you do, you will find Him and He will give you life to the fullest. This may not mean a life that you expect but you will be guaranteed an inner life of peace, harmony and bliss and no matter what the storm is around you, He will hold you and give you courage till it settles and you are able to rebuild your life again. May God bless each of you today and keep drawing you to His Love amen. "Come Holy Spirit, please touch each and every heart that will come across this message. Open our hearts to Your Word and Your Truth and let us walk in total abandonment to You. Bless us all and keep us from the snares of the enemy.

satan called a worldwide convention of demons.

in his opening address he said,

'we cant keep christians from going to church.

we cant keep them from reading their bibles and knowing the truth.

we cant keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Saviour.

once they gain that connection with Jesus, our power over them is broken.

so let them go to their churches; let them have their covered dish dinners, but steal their time,
so they dont have time to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.

''this is what i want you to do," said the devil.

'distract them from gaining hold of their Saviour and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!'how shall we do this?" his demons shouted.

'keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds," he answered.

'tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow.'

'persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles.'

'keep them from spending time with their children.'

'as their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!'

'over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice.'

'entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive.'

'to keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays non-biblical music constantly.'

'this will jam their minds and break that union with Christ.'

'keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives.'

'keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night.'

'give them headaches too!''if they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere.'

'that will fragment their families quickly!'

'give them Santa Claus to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Christmas.'

'give them an Easter bunny so they won't talk about his resurrection and power over sin and death.''even in their recreation, let them be excessive.'

'have them return from their recreation exhausted.'

'keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on God's creation. send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead.'

'keep them busy, busy, busy!''and when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences.'

'crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Jesus.'

it was quite a plan!

the demons went eagerly to their assignments causing Christians everywhere to get busier and more rushed, going here and there.

having little time for their God or their families.

having no time to tell others about the power of Jesus to change lives.

Cell phone vs Bible

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several time a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about
our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!

why God allows pain and suffering

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.

As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.

They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: 'I don't believe that God exists.'

'Why do you say that?' asked the customer.

'Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.'

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.

The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.

The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: 'You know what? Barbers do not exist.'

'How can you say that?' asked the surprised barber. 'I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!'

'No!' the customer exclaimed. 'Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.'

'Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me.'

'Exactly!' affirmed the customer. 'That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world.'

Hi everyone...
inflation has been making the world’s headline news in recent months. According to the World Bank, surging commodity prices have pushed global food prices up 83 per cent in the past three years - putting huge stress on some of the world's poorest nations. In recent weeks, soaring food prices had led to rioting in Egypt, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Ethiopia. In Pakistan and Thailand, army troops have been deployed to deter food theft from fields and warehouses. Probably you've heard enough of it and think that it doesn't really affect you much. i thought that way as well, but after reading an article, it woke me up. does the Bible has anything to say about today's inflation?

In Revelation chapter 6 , the apostle John was inspired of the Holy Spirit to write of the seven seal judgments that precede the visible reappearing of the Lord Jesus. The third seal judgment depicts the prophetic announcement of the black horse as recorded in Rev 6:5-6

“And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”

The rider of the horse holds a pair of balances in his hand as a symbol of commerce and economy. This passage gives us a prophetic glimpse of what ultra inflation is during the end times.

What is the significance of the measure of wheat for a penny?

In the parable of the labourers, the wages paid to the labourer for a day’s work was one penny. Hence, in Jesus’ day, a penny (a Roman denarius, a day’s wages in Palestine) would buy eight measures of wheat or twenty measures of barley. In the account of the miraculous feeding of five thousand, when Jesus told the disciples to feed the people, the response of the disciples was “Shall we go and buy two hundred penny worth of bread, and give them to eat” (Mark 6:37 ). From this response, we can inferred that the penny for the day’s wage can buy more than the basic necessities since two hundred penny can buy bread to feed five thousand in Jesus’ day..

But in John’s prophetic third seal judgment, one man’s measure of wheat will take a day’s wage; three measures of barley (the food for cattle and horses) can be bought for a day’s wage. The black prophetic horse speaks of the day of ultra inflation when a day’s wage can barely buy the basic necessities to survive. These are starvation conditions. World Bank president Robert Zoellick warned in a recent speech that 33 countries are at risk of social upheaval because of rising food prices. Those could include Indonesia, Yemen, Ghana, Uzbekistan and the Philippines. In countries where buying food requires half to three-quarters of a poor person’s income, “there is no margin for survival,” he said.

Wheat and barley are necessities of life, but why the mention that oil and wine shall not be hurt in the seal judgment? Oil and wine are luxuries for the rich. The enormous and insatiable demand for fossil energy and its inevitable depletion will only contribute to its phenomenal price increase which viciously will drive up food prices. The fuel oil prices were about US$40 per barrel in 2004. But now it is predicted that it may hit US$200. With such unprecedented oil prices, the impact on inflation is staggering. The price increase will continue to benefit the rich who are immune to the soaring food prices.

We live in the last days in which the signs of the second coming are being fulfilled before our very eyes. The reality of that impending third seal judgment of the prophetic black horse of ultra inflation has a message for us. Let us heed the injunction of apostle Peter in 2 Pet 3:10-14

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of person ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”

As the days of the second coming of the Lord is drawing near and we being in the end of the end times, ought to spread the gospel fervently. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Lastly, in Ephesians 4:1 'I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called.' Let us all live a life that is righteous and holy in the eyes of the Lord.

Two more passages for you:

'Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.' 1 John 2:15-17

'I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.' Romans 12;1-2

" He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver." ( Malachi 3:3 )

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.

One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.

The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: 'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.'

She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time.

The man answered "yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'

He smiled at her and answered, 'Oh, that's easy - ' when I see my image in it.'

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

Science and God

'Let me explain the problem science has with Jesus Christ.' The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand.

'You're a Christian, aren't you, son?'

'Yes sir,' the student says.

'So you believe in God?'

'Absolutely.'

'Is God good?'

'Sure! God's good.'

'Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?'

'Yes.'

'Are you good or evil?'

'The Bible says I'm evil.'

The professor grins knowingly. 'Aha! The Bible!'

He considers for a moment.

'Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person over here and you can cure him.
You can do it. Would you help him? Would you try?'

'Yes sir, I would.'

'So you're good.....!'

'I wouldn't say that.'

'But why not say that? You'd help a sick and maimed person if you could. Most of us would if we could. But God doesn't.'

The student does not answer, so the professor continues.

'He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Christian who died of cancer, even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him How is this Jesus good? Hmmm? Can you answer that one?'

The student remains silent.

'No, you can't, can you?' the professor says.

He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax.

'Let's start again, young fella Is God good?'

'Er...yes,' the student says.

'Is Satan good?'The student doesn't hesitate on this one.

'No.'

'Then where does Satan come from?'

'The student : 'From...God...'

''That's right. God made Satan, didn't he? Tell me, son. Is there evil in this world?'

'Yes, sir.'

'Evil's everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything,correct?'

'Yes.'

'So who created evil?' The professor continued, 'If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil.'

Without allowing the student to answer, the professor continues:'Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things, do they exist in this world?'

The student: 'Yes.''So who created them?'

The student does not answer again, so the professor repeats his question. 'Who created them?

There is still no answer.

Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace in front of the classroom.

The class is mesmerized.

'Tell me,' he continues onto another student.
'Do you believe in Jesus Christ, son?'

The student's voice is confident: 'Yes, professor, I do.'

The old man stops pacing. 'Science says you have five senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?'

'No sir. I've never seen Him'

'Then tell us if you've ever heard your Jesus?'

'No, sir, I have not.'

'Have you ever actually felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus or smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ, or God for that matter?'

'No, sir, I'm afraid I haven't.'

'Yet you still believe in him?'

'Yes.'

'According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that,son?'

'Nothing,' the student replies.

'I only have my faith.'

'Yes, faith,' the professor repeats.
'And that is the problem science has with God. There is no evidence, only faith.'

The student stands quietly for a moment, before asking a question of his own.
'Professor, is there such thing as heat?'

'Yes,' the professor replies. 'There's heat.'

'And is there such a thing as cold?'

'Yes, son, there's cold too.'

'No sir, there isn't...'

The professor turns to face the student, obviously interested.

The room suddenly becomes very quiet.

The student begins to explain.

'You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, unlimited heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat, but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit up to 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold; otherwise we would be able to go colder than the lowest -458 degrees. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-458 F) is the total absence of heat.You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.'

Silence across the room.

A pen drops somewhere in the classroom, sounding like a hammer.

'What about darkness, professor. Is there such a thing as darkness?'

'Yes,' the professor replies without hesitation. 'What is night if it isn't darkness?'

'You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is not something; it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light, but if you have no light constantly you have Nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? That's the meaning we use to define the word. In reality, darkness isn't. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?'

The professor begins to smile at the student in front of him.
This will be a good semester.

'So what point are you making, young man?'

'Yes, professor. My point is, your philosophical premise is flawed to start with, and so your conclusion must also be flawed.'

The professor's face cannot hide his surprise this time.

'Flawed? Can you explain how?'

'You are working on the premise of duality,' the student explains.

'You argue that there is life and then there's death; a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, just the absence of it.'

'Now tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?'

'If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes, of course I do'

'Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?'

The professor begins to shake his head, still smiling, as he realizes where the argument is going. A very good semester, indeed.

'Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a preacher?'

The class is in uproar.

The student remains silent until the Commotion has subsided.

The student looks around the room...

'Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?'

The class breaks out into laughter.

'Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain,felt the professor's brain, touched or smelled the professor's brain? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, with all due respect, sir. So if science says you have no brain, how can we trust your lectures, sir?'

Now the room is silent.

The professor just stares at the student, his face unreadable.

Finally, after what seems an eternity, the old man answers.
'I guess you'll have to take them on faith. '

'Now, you accept that there is faith, and, in fact, faith exists with life,' the student continues.

'Now, sir, is there such a thing as evil?'

'To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, let me give you an example of what I mean.'

Now uncertain, the professor responds, 'Of course, there is. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man...It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world.These manifestations are nothing else but evil.'

To this the student replied,
'Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God.

It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil.

Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart.

It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.'

The professor sat down.

Note:satan was once an angel,lucifer,which had strayed away from god,thus this explains the fact that god made satan.

Hi guys,
decided to try a blog something while studying at this unearthly hour haha, hopefully try to revive this blog haha=) so quickly 5/6 of a year has gone by... people have age both physically and spiritually and mentally ( i hope? haha)... really happy that this tuan qi can get thru another yr, tho may not be smoothly but by God's grace ya hahaha. I guess no one frm the wei yuen and the leaders will ever even dream 6yrs ago that they will be what they are now=) Although i noe i am not say the Li Xiang tuan zhang or the more "good quality" one hahaha i am really really happy to see how this grp of leaders and wei yuen able to handle tuanqi stuff while they are (majority) having O lvls... Seriously i noe it wasnt an easy job soo yup great job guys=) Hope u guys can continue to guide this tuan qi? yup=) oh ya btw thank God the camp week is my study break hahaha so i can go=) (zhi wei u wont get the chance the chop me muah haha=P) Lastly i sure put in a verse i came upon while doing my QT...

HEY GUYS!!!
Blogging now as promised.Well,lots of bad stuffs happened last week,but never mind,forget about the unhappy stuffs.I am going to blog about one of our church mate,zhen yuan.He left Singapore on 11/07/2007,to Hong Kong,and he may be staying there permanently from what i have heard.So,two days before he left,qing nian tuan organized a farewell dinner for him at Holland village.There was about 19 people who went there including me,and we ate dinner and chatted.Soon,it was late into night and we invited zhen yuan to say something about his trip back to hong kong.It was a emotional speech,which everyone silently prayed for him.Here are some pictures,

2007 BIBLE CAMP!

Hey guys,it is handong here!This will be a short post of my experience in the 2007 bible camp.
Bible camp was a success,of course.Well,although most of the SNTQ members didn't go,but never mind.I shared a room with enya...and this is my first time living in an hotel alone without my family,lol.The room was huge,and nice.At first,i was very afraid about going to the camp as most of you guys are not going,so i thought it would be pretty boring when having free time with only me, enya and xiaoyi.But,when i had combined activities with the qing nian tuan people,i was surprised that we can hit off quite well.I managed to have lots of fun with them during the camp days,and they are nice people.I learnt alot of things during the ting dao,which really motivates me.I will share them another day on another post.We didn't managed to take pictures,except for some taken by the camp photographer.I will also post it if i get my hands on it.That's all,will post another day.Take care and god bless.Bye. =)

Very long nvr blog so thought i should do so haha=) so fast half a yr is almost gd time really passes fast haha=) was quite sad that sntq only Han tong, xiao yi and me going camp=( but nvm i guess everyone got his/ her gd reasons y not to go? yup=) so hopefully we will learn to manage our time will=) I understand the those sec 4s this month will be their worst holiday ever haha but pray that you all will go thru ur O lvls smoothly so all the best haha=) got a verse for u guys to ponder=)

What ever we do whether be it studying playing etc. we must all learn to numbers our days and use every single second wisely. Hope that you guys will understand haha=)

Going to church doesn't make me a Christian anymore than going to a garage makes me a mechanic.
It's not what I DO or GO (e.g. teaching in a class, marking scripts, setting exams, praying, reading the Bible, going for Church meetings) that defines who I am!
It's who I am (e.g. In Christ, I am the light of the world, the salt of the earth, the ambassador for Christ) that defines what I do!
My actions spring forth from my identity, not the other way round!
This makes a big difference cos it sets me free from religious duties and mundane routines and it allows me to live my life the way it should be!
If you see yourself as a learner all your life, studying is a natural thing you would do! it's so obvious but yet I often misunderstand it and live my life the wrong way!
let's get back on the right track in the right direction!
God allows U-turns all the time!

mid year is over and i happen 2 came across tis msg by my form teacher.
shall type it out as a contribution for the blog.hehe=)

WHY I SHOULD STUDY by daniel chow

By studying, I am undergoing part of God's training/test for my development and growth in life. A stretched mind will never go back to its original state.
What I learn is NOT the most important. What I become is.
The heart of education should be for the education of the heart.

By studying, I begin to realise that I am capable of excelling and becoming very good at certain subjects. I began to realise the strengths that God has given to me and become thankful for them. I am also able to become a blessing to others by sharing my area of expertise. I begin to experience the joy of giving. (Acts 20:35)
By studying, I also realise that I am incapable of doing well in other subjects. I begin to realise that I am weak and incomplete and I need His grace to be made perfect in my weakness.(2 Corinthians 12:9)

I begin to depend on Him more and give Him glory and credits for what I achieve. I am humbled by failures and matured by learning to handle failures and disappointments with Him and through Him. I learn to be thankful for all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18) and I begin to realise that God causes all things (including difficult subjects/disappointing results) to work together for my good. (Romans 8:28)

I have the opportunities to cry out to Him even more and thus am able to experience His comfort so that I can comfort others as well. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)By studying, I please God by fulfilling 2 commandments in the Bible in relation to my parents.
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right (Ephesians 6:1) and Honour your father and mother, which is a commandment with a promise: that I will live a long and full life on earth. (Deuteronomy 20:12)

If I do well, I honour them with my grades. Even if I don't, I would have fulfilled what is required of me and I am accountable to them and to God. I will also minimize the chance of becoming a financial and emotional burden to others when I grow up as I will be able to find a job more easily and be able to support them and myself and to start my own family. (1 Timothy 5:8)

If I study correctly, By having a daily dose of manageable learning, application and revision ^ By thinking through, questioning and understanding what is presented^ By remaining curious to learnI will eventually become an effective person having diligence, self discipline, determination and a desire to learn. My mind will develop fuller in terms of thinking and reasoning. This is crucial for better understanding of the objective evidences of my faith (aka Christian apologetics) and thus enables me to strengthen my faith further as I become ready to give an answer to anyone who asks of my Christian hope. (1 Peter 3:15)

Dear Lord Jesus, I commit myself to study for the above reasons. I ask of you to grant me the ability to concentrate and be focused during my studies. I ask of you to lead me in understanding my subjects and in finding help from others. I want to depend on You fully while I am studying and I want to experience your joy and peace throughout my studies. Thank you for this stage of life where I may grow. May all glory be upon You. Amen.
